Özet

Students's listening, reading, writing and speaking skills is developing in the language teaching process. This research is is based on the reading and writing skills from four main language skills. The aim of this research is to compare primary school students's reading comprehension and writing skills and to determine whether any corelational relation between the reading comprehension and writing skills. In this research, the reading comprehension scale of expository texts and the evaluation scale of expository writing skill are used for this aim. In conclusion, a corelational relation between the reading comprehension and writing skills is determined. With reference to the more increasing reading comprehension rate and the more increasing writing skills rate.
