Biyografi
Dr. Aysun Uysal, Hatay Mustafa
Kemal Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bitki Koruma Bölümü mezunu olup,
akademik kariyerine aynı üniversitede devam etmektedir. Yüksek lisansını "Ispanakta
Antraknoz Hastalığı" üzerine tamamladıktan sonra, doktorasını "Doğu
Akdeniz Bölgesi'nde Turunçgillerde Antraknoz Etmeni Colletotrichum Türlerinin
Karakterizasyonu ve Fungisit Duyarlılıkları" konusunda tamamlayarak
bitki hastalıkları alanında derinleşmiştir. Dr. Uysal'ın akademik uzmanlık
alanları arasında fitopatoloji, mikoloji ve bakteriyoloji yer
almaktadır. Araştırmaları, bitki hastalıklarının moleküler ve morfolojik
karakterizasyonu, alternatif mücadele yöntemleri ve biyokontrol potansiyeli
üzerine odaklanmaktadır. Özellikle turunçgiller, ıspanak, ceviz ve birçok
önemli tarımsal ürün üzerindeki fungal patojenler ve mücadele yöntemleri
üzerine kapsamlı çalışmalar yürütmüştür. Uluslararası ve ulusal dergilerde 100'ün
üzerinde yayını bulunmaktadır. Bunlardan bazıları, Journal of Plant
Pathology, European Journal of Plant Pathology gibi prestijli dergilerde
yer almıştır. Ayrıca, çalışmalarına 113 atıf yapılmış olup, Scopus
H-endeksi 7'dir. Dr. Uysal, aynı zamanda MALDI-TOF MS tekniğini
kullanarak fungal ve bakteriyel patojenlerin hızlı teşhisi üzerine önemli
katkılar sağlamıştır. Akademik başarılarının yanı sıra, Dr. Uysal, çeşitli
projelerde yürütücü ve araştırmacı olarak görev almıştır. Öğrencilere Mikoloji
dersleri veren Dr. Uysal, genç bilim insanlarına rehberlik ederek akademik
gelişimlerine katkıda bulunmaya devam etmektedir. Fitopatoloji alanında sunduğu
katkılar ve yayınladığı çalışmaları ile Türkiye tarımına ve bilim dünyasına
önemli katkılar sunmaya devam etmektedir.
