Kutadgu Bilig’de Aile Hayatı ile İlgili Beyitler Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Özet

Aile bir toplumun temel çekirdeğidir. Uygulamalarda farklılıklar olmakla birlikte ailenin korunması konusunda tüm devletler tedbir almak ister. Türkler, ailenin önemi ve ailedeki fertlerin vazifeleri ile ilgili hususları kendi dönemlerindeki insanlara öğretmek ve daha sonraki kuşaklara bu öğretileri miras bırakmak istemişlerdir. Bu sebeple Orhun Kitabelerinden günümüze kadar pek çok eserde aile kavramı yerini almıştır. Bunun yanı sıra sözlü kültür ürünlerinde de aile ile ilgili hak ve sorumlulukları dile getiren hususları görmek mümkündür. Kutadgu Bilig’de de başta ideal devlet yönetimi olmak üzere pek çok konu işlenmiştir. Eserde ele alınan konulardan birisi de ailedir. Aile ile ilgili verilmek istenen mesajlar diyalog havası içerisinde zaman zaman atasözü ve deyim formatında ifade edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Kutadgu Bilig’de aile hayatıyla ilgili tespit edilen beyitler evliliğin önemi, eş seçimi, çocuk terbiyesi, anne baba olmanın getirdiği zorluklar, anne baba ve çocuk hakkı ve akrabalarla olan münasebetler başlıkları altında sınıflandırılmıştır. Daha sonra bu beyitler Türkiye Türkçesine aktarılmış, beyitlerde ele alınan konular, varsa, Güncel Türkçe Sözlük’teki atasözleri ve deyimlerle karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu karşılaştırma sonucunda Kutadgu Bilig’de aile ile ilgili bazı kavramların zaman içerisinde kalıplaşarak atasözü ve deyimlere dönüştüğü tespit edilmiştir. Kutadgu Bilig’de aileyle ilgili tespit edilen hususlar sonuç bölümünde özetlenerek bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The family is the fundamental core of society. While there are differences in practice, all states strive to take measures to protect the family. The Turks sought to teach the importance of the family and the duties of family members to their contemporaries and to pass these teachings on to subsequent generations. Therefore, the concept of family has found its place in many works from the Orkhon Inscriptions to the present day. Furthermore, it is possible to find aspects of family-related rights and responsibilities in oral cultural works. Kutadgu Bilig also addresses many topics, particularly ideal state governance. One of the topics addressed in the work is family. The intended messages about family are expressed in a dialogue-like tone, at times in proverb and idiom format. This study categorizes the verses identified in Kutadgu Bilig regarding family life under the headings of the importance of marriage, spouse selection, child rearing, the challenges of parenthood, the rights of parents and children, and relationships with relatives. These couplets were then translated into Turkish, and the topics discussed were compared with proverbs and idioms, if any, in the Current Turkish Dictionary. As a result of this comparison, it has been determined that some concepts related to family in Kutadgu Bilig have become stereotyped over time and turned into proverbs and idioms. The issues identified in Kutadgu Bilig regarding family are summarized in the conclusion, and some suggestions are made.
