Özet

The impact of artificial intelligence on decision-making processes has increasingly become a subject of discussion in recent years. These debates make the relationship between AI and decision-making more intriguing and thought-provoking regarding its future. This study explores the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and decisionmaking processes, with a focus on public administration. It begins by establishing the conceptual and historical foundations of decision making, highlighting its interdisciplinary nature. The paper then examines how AI contributes to various decision-making models such as rational, incremental, and garbage can approach. It emphasizes that AI has great potential to enhance efficiency, objectivity, and analytical depth in decision processes, particularly through big data analytics and learning algorithms. However, the study also addresses the ethical, legal, and operational challenges posed by AI, including algorithmic bias, data privacy concerns, and the diminishing role of human judgment. Ultimately, it concludes that while AI is becoming an indispensable decision-support tool, fully autonomous decision-making remains unlikely. Instead, hybrid models combining human and artificial intelligence are projected to dominate future governance and management practices.
