Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2009-2018 yılları arasında Türkiye’deki sinema salonlarında gösterime girmiş animasyon filmlerinde geçen bilgi türlerini incelemektir. Bu araştırmadaki animasyon filmlerinde; çocuk yaş aralığının eğitim çağında olan çocuklara ve genel izleyici kitlesine uygun olması; Internet Movie Database (IMDb) puanlarının 5 ve üzeri olması ve Box Office gişe verilerine göre en çok izlenme oranına sahip olması ölçütleri aranmıştır. Bu çalışma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışmasına göre desenlenmiş ve veriler doküman incelemesi tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Çalışmaya dâhil edilen animasyon filmleri, araştırmacılar tarafından ilgili literatür taranarak ve farklı alanlarda yapılan benzer çalışmaların veri toplama araçları incelenerek geliştirilen “Animasyon Filmlerinde Yer Alan Bilgi Cümlelerini Bilgi Türlerine Göre Değerlendirme Formu” ile incelenmiş, bu filmlerden elde edilen bilgiler, oluşturulan forma kaydedilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde ve yorumlanmasında, içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre incelenen animasyon filmlerinin tamamında bilgi türlerine yer verildiği, araştırma sonucunda görülmüştür. Bu filmler, bilgi türü dağılımına göre incelendiğinde filmlerde en çok gündelik bilgi, bilimsel bilgi ve teknik bilginin, en az ise sanatsal, felsefi ve dini bilginin yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir.
This study examined the information types in the animated films released in Turkey between 2009 and 2018. The animation films included in the research in this study are suitable for children in the age range of education and for the general audience; Internet Movie Database (IMDb) scores of 5 and above and having the highest viewing rate according to Box Office box office data were sought. This study was designed according to the case study, one of the qualitative research methods, and the data were collected by document analysis technique. The researchers developed “An Assessment Form for Information Sentences and Types in Animated Films” after conducting a literature review and examining similar studies and data collection tools. The animated films were examined using this assessment form. The descriptive analysis method was used to analyze and interpret the study data. It was concluded that all the animated films included certain information types. The films mainly involved everyday information, scientific information, and technical information in terms of the distribution of information types. The least addressed types in the films were artistic, philosophical, and religious information.
