Abstract

Nanotechnology has many benefits in the seed germination and seedling growth process. In this chapter, nanomaterials usage in seed germination classified as nanoparticles, nanocapsules, nanoemulsions, nanotubes, and nanofibers is reviewed. Nanomaterials also have various impacts on germination rate, protection from abiotic and biotic stressors, and plant growth. Furthermore, the toxicological impacts of nanomaterials are also discussed in this chapter.
