Abstract

The Calanoid copepod Eudiaptomus gracilis (G.O. Sars, 1863) is recorded from Turkish inland waters for the first time. Males and females of Eudiaptomus gracilis were consistently found during 6 sampling periods in the Yeşili{dotless}rmak River. The species was collected from the Yeşili{dotless}rmak River and Suat Uǧurlu and Hasan Uǧurlu dam lakes in the Black Sea region and detailed descriptions of both sexes are given. © TÜBİTAK.
